“I am pleased to report my experience at KC Smog at 7070 Fruitridge Rd. was remarkably easy. The personnel were polite & went out of their way to help me get a great deal. I had a coupon for $39.95 + cert., but couldn't find it when I got there. The cashier gave me that advertised price anyway. I really appreciated that. It wasn't that busy & I was able to pull in to the test area. The technician went right to work & within 25 mins, the test was complete & my truck results were sent to DMV . I drove away feeling good about getting a certified mechanic to test my truck quickly & for a bargain price. You know,... I'm always looking for a bargain.”

“I came here for a smog test because it was very affordable. I had called a lot of places to try to find the best price and this place gave me the exact the same price they had on Google/website, which I appreciate it. They're really nice and honest. When I came, the guy let me know I needed a STAR station which they're not certified to do so. I totally recommend this place. They're very friendly and honest.”

“Fast and easy service. I came in without an appointment and they had me in and out super fast. I was very satisfied plus I had an online coupon that they accepted no questions asked. Would recommend this place for fast and good service. smogtips.com/kcsmogcheck Here is the coupon they accepted. Small location with not many amenities but that isn't what matters to me. Bring some entertainment.”

“I was in and out in no time. The people who work here are kind, helpful and know their stuff. And it's a test only site which is needed for older cars. I only go here for my smog needs! There was also outdoor seating which was nice during covid for waiting safely. To note: the parking lot is on the small side but I've seen big trucks, etc, in there before.”

“Knowledgeable staff! Recently visited another nearby smog test center a week or 2 prior and failed my car for a few things. Went to this center and passed the smog check without need to repair the previous "failed" test. Thanks again for being transparent and honest; also knowledge of your tools and equipment.”

“👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾... Even though I didn't pass the initial smog check on Saturday. I was told what to do and was able to bring my car back to have it approved the falling monday. Thank you for your assistance. PS I have already received my DMV tags.”

“Second time coming here for my STAR smog certificate, and both times a great experience. Barely any wait. I was also able to shop next door at Welco while I waited. Competitive pricing. Great service. Highly recommend and will return.”

“In and out in 15 minutes on a Saturday at 4:00. I called around for quotes and with the online offer no one is close. Other places quoting between 50-80 for my small SUV. This one got me done for $34+fees ($43 total)”

“Really good, smog technician was honest and upfront, of the repairs and preparation I needed in order for my vehicle to pass smog, due to my being a 1993 Ford Aerostar with the older EVAP system”

“Great place to smog your car. Not only are their prices competitive compared to other shops in the area but they will also smog your car quickly even if you're doing a walk-in!”

“Since my vehicle is a year 2000 model and newer the smog took less than 15 minutes. This place is a Star smog shop which also mean they could also smog older model vehicles.”

“I've used this business for years. What the owner says is true. They're fast and cheap. I'm not that easy to impress, but they're quite competent and I keep coming back.”
